El Yiyo: The New Legend of Flamenco
The stage welcomes a flamenco phenomenon: El Yiyo.
This week, our flamenco ensemble renews itself to offer you an experience full of nuances and overflowing talent.
At Tablao Flamenco 1911, each week is a statement of intentions. From January 12 to January 18, our stage beats again with a cast that combines hierarchy, truth, and character, faithful to the spirit of a house where flamenco is not represented: it is lived.
In dance, the week is sustained by the constant presence of Claudia Cruz and Paula Rodríguez Lázaro, two artists who mark the daily pulse with complementary styles and uncompromising dedication. Alongside them, the overwhelming strength of Jose Escarpín and the direct energy of Yiyo complete a solid, deeply rooted dance ensemble, full of nuances, capable of transforming each night into a different experience.
The guitar marks the path of the week with its own personality. The firm and elegant pulse of Ricardo Vázquez intertwines with the character-filled sonanta of David Cerreduela, creating a solid ground on which everything happens. On Sunday, the arrival of Mario Montoya brings a change of air and a different way of saying things, closing the week with a special and recognizable flavor.
In song, emotion is built from truth. Saul Quirós and Diego Amador give voice to feeling night after night, filling the room with that quejío that understands no artifice and connects directly with the audience.
Color and melody come from Jesús Montoya, whose flute provides nuances and breath to the ensemble, while the rhythm is firmly anchored by Iván Losada from Monday to Thursday and by Lucky Losada from Friday to Sunday, ensuring a constant and deep heartbeat that sustains everything that happens on the boards.
A complete week of flamenco without unnecessary adornments, where each performance is different and each artist steps onto the stage with the respect required by one of the tablaos with the most history in the world.
