Bailaor and choreographer with more than three decades on the world's finest stages.
Carlos Velázquez began his career training at the Real Conservatorio of Madrid and at the Amor de Dios Dance School with masters such as el Güito, Rafael de Córdoba and Rosa Durán. He has built a career alongside great bailaores and bailaoras such as Ciro and María Magdalena, among others. He has toured major cities around the world as part of the country’s most important ballet companies: the Compañía de María Carrasco, the Compañía de Il Camborio and Lucía del Real, and the Compañía de José Greco, with whom he has performed on the finest stages in the United States.
He has taken part in the productions “Carmen” and “Il Trovatore” under the direction of Franco Zeffirelli, alongside Belén López, and has been a principal solo dancer with his own company at the Teatro Muñoz Seca.
Bailaor, choreographer, flamenco artist — Carlos performs at Tablao Flamenco 1911 to delight us with a magnificent show.
