This week, one of the most powerful and respected names in contemporary flamenco dance shines on our stage: Carmen la Talegona. Born in Cordoba and niece of the legendary singer Talegón de Córdoba, she sublimely combines technical rigor with the wild duende of pure roots art. Having performed as a soloist with Blanca del Rey, Manolete, and Rafael Amargo, witnessing her absolute devotion with the bata de cola and mantón shawl is an honest and heartbreaking experience.
