Alfonso Losa, virtuous dance

The artist from Madrid, known for being the author of many shows that have toured our country, has been awarded on numerous occasions thanks to his technique, style and professionalism. Some of the most outstanding awards are: El Desplante Award at the Cante de las Minas Festival; “El Güito por soleá” Award at the Flamenco Art Contest of Cordoba 2007; Outstanding Dancer Award at the Madrid Choreography Contest, among others.

In addition, Alfonso Losa experienced a change in the way of expressing his art with his show Con-secuencia. This was presented at the Jerez Festival 2018. His work marked a before and after in his career as an artist. Supported by the scenic work of the director Florencio Campos, Losa recapitulates what he has learnt to launch himself into a new experience: research into improvisation and the management of stage energy, in real time. A challenge that very few artists can face.
