Cordovan, dancer and choreographer, Ana brings us an elegant show with great technique, authentic flamenco.
Ana García Leiva, artistically known as Ana Latorre, was born in Córdoba on June 26, 1994 and is the daughter of Nuria Leiva and Javier Latorre. From an early age, she showed her passion for dancing and made the decision to pursue an artistic career in the world of flamenco.
To develop her talent and skills, Ana Latorre trained studying Spanish Dance and Flamenco in Malaga and Cordoba.
In 2012, she culminated her training in the specialty of flamenco at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Luis del Río in Córdoba. Subsequently, she moved to Madrid, where in 2018 she managed to obtain her degree in Flamenco Pedagogy at the prestigious Conservatorio Superior de Danza “María de Ávila”.
Ana has had the opportunity to be part of shows with outstanding companies, participating in notable productions such as the premiere of “La Consagración” at the Teatro de la Maestranza, a work by the company Estévez y Paños; “Siempre Antonio” with Antonio Márquez; “Duende”, presented at the Jardines del Generalife under the direction of Manuel Liñán and La Moneta; “Fatum” and “A ese chino no le canto” with the company of the Japanese dancer Shoji Kojima, among other outstanding projects.
On the other hand, since 2015, Ana Latorre has captivated national and international audiences as a soloist, performing in prestigious tablaos in various countries. Her talent and passion for flamenco have been widely recognized, which has allowed her to perform on renowned stages and win the appreciation of critics and audiences alike.
