Antonio Canales triumphs in Madrid during the Easter long weekend.

On the 29th, 30th and 31st of March we had the honour of hosting our godfather, Antonio Canales, at the Tablao Flamenco 1911.

Three exciting nights in which this great figure gave all his art, creating magical moments on stage. A sold out for the two daily performances offered by the Sevillian bailaor, which we remember with affection.

The maestro captivated the Madrid audience in the best way. Fans and onlookers came to the tablao eager to appreciate his dancing.

The winner of the National Dance Prize in 1995, he preserves the essence of his dance. His dramatic gestures and expressions enhanced the performance of one of the most intense flamenco palos, the Seguiriya.

Throughout his career, Canales has worked with some of the best flamenco artists, including Paco de Lucía and Camarón de la Isla, which has helped forge his reputation as one of the most respected dancers of his generation.

With an impressive career and undeniable charisma, Antonio Canales continues to dazzle audiences of all ages with his passion and incomparable artistry. His stage presence is synonymous with spectacle, emotion and authenticity, making him an iconic figure of our time.

On Saturday 30 March, the most special performances took place. A meeting between Canales and the young Tete Fernández and Paula Rodríguez Lázaro.

In both shows we were able to observe the respect that the new generations enjoy towards the great masters of dance. A meeting in which both demonstrated their professionalism and international experience.

The passion of flamenco filled the stage of the Tablao Flamenco 1911.
