David Jiménez

guitarrista

David was born in Madrid, in the neighborhood of Caño Roto, in the heart of a family of artists. His father, “El Tupé”, is a dancer and his mother is the great dancer “La Cuatro”. He was influenced by his older brother, El Viejín, his teacher, and also by his brother Juan Jiménez. His guitarist uncles and cousins have also been a reference in his passion for the guitar. He has shared the stage with great flamenco figures, which has marked his natural ability to articulate technique and musicality with his flamenco temperament.

David Jiménez has worked with artists such as Antonio Canales, Joaquín Cortés, El Cigala, Montse Cortés, Guadiana, Ramón El Portugués, Miguel el Rubio Paquete, Ramón Jiménez, Jesús de Rosario and many more.

He has collaborated as a solo guitarist in the Spanish Television program Flamenco para tus Ojos. Author of great guitar compositions, he has received the Award for Best Composition as a soloist.
