Dancer with character coming from a gypsy family of artists with historical ancestors for flamenco.

Joselillo Romero is a dancer of the flamenco elite, on a par with stars such as Israel Galván and Farruquito.

He began his career at a very young age alongside figures such as Antonio Canales and Joaquín Grilo. During his adolescence he joined the company of “El Güito”. From there, he went on to make unforgettable appearances ranging from international tours around the world to opening for artists such as Marc Anthony and Beyoncé.

Today, José Maya is based in Madrid and Paris, where he runs his flamenco dance school with Christine Magdalena.

  • “Liturgy” (2022) Saint Jean de Montmartre Church in Paris.
  • “Color without name” (2022). Teatros del Canal XVII Suma Flamenca Festival of Madrid.

At the moment he continues touring Europe with Vicente Amigo and Tomatito.
