Vanesa Coloma

Vanesa is a dancer from Madrid who trained at the Royal Conservatory of Dance in Madrid. She has grown up dancing in the main tablaos of the city of Madrid. Her strength and naturalness in dance, have led her to collaborate with top artists such as Alfonso Losa, Rocío Molina, Belén Maya, Jesús Carmona and Manuel Liñán among others.

In 2012 she premiered her work “FlamenKlorica” a scenic proposal that became a finalist in the Madrid Choreography Contest. He has participated in the following works:

  • “7 Balcones”, “4 Adjetivos” and “Equilibrio Flamenco” by Jesús Carmona.
  • “Tauro” and “2 En Compañía” by Manuel Liñán.
  • “Oro Viejo”, “Cuando Las Piedras Vuelen”, “Almario”, “Turquesa Como El Limón” by Rocio Molina.
  • “Souvenir” and “Dibujos” by Belén Maya.
  • “Camino Flamenco” and “En Candela” by Alfonso Losa.
  • “Mujeres al borde de una bata de Cola” by Yolanda Heredia.

 

She has participated in the most prestigious Flamenco Festivals such as Bienal de Sevilla, Festival de Jerez, Festival de las Minas, Suma Flamenca, Madrid en Danza, Festival Flamenco Usa, Festival de Alburquerque, Festival de Mont de Marsan, Festival de Nimes. Vanesa has a purity and sensitivity in her dancing that, without any doubt, makes us know that we are in front of one of the most important artists of her generation.

She obtained great mentions such as: Semifinalist of the International Contest of Cante De Las Minas in 2017 and Winner of the National Award of the “Perla de Cadiz” for Alegrías in 2018.
