Flamenco singer from Catalonia with a portentous voice.

José de la Miguela is a flamenco singer from the neighbourhood of La Mina, in Sant Adriá de Besós, Barcelona.

Since he was a child, he has been very aware of flamenco. From a gypsy family, José became interested in flamenco singing at a very early age, singing in small gatherings and circles.

His love of flamenco led him to become a professional, accompanying some of the greatest flamenco artists in tablaos and theatres in Spain. He has worked with dancers of the stature of Antonio Canales, Farruquito, Karime Amaya and Alfonso Losa.
