The Tablao Flamenco 1911 is located in the famous Plaza de Santa Ana, in the neighborhood of Las Letras in Madrid.

Formerly known as the name of the historic tiled façade of its premises, this unique venue has been hosting flamenco shows since 1911, and is recognized as the oldest tablao in the world.

The tablao is surrounded by Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Canalejas and its luxurious Galería Canalejas, Barrio de las Letras and Calle Huertas.

It is very close to the Sol and Sevilla subway stops, and the Sol commuter train station. It is easy to walk from any tourist attraction in the center.

Antonio Canales, is one of many flamenco lovers, who wish with all their strength that the oldest tablao in the world, regain its maximum splendor. Maestro Canales is one of the stars who have stepped on the stage of this flamenco tablao, and who has been hypnotized by its magic.

An extensive career

Maestro Canales began his career in the national ballet where he was the first figure for years and after closing this stage, he decided to join, in Paris, the ballet of Maguy Marin.

In 1992, at the age of 31, he created his first company and began a recognized international career, being one of the most mediatic and recognized artists.

Among his countless awards, the National Dance Award, his nomination for the Emmy Awards, and the delivery, from the hands of the King of Spain in 2022, of the Gold Medal of Fine Arts stand out.

The maestro leaves no one indifferent and is one of the best known and most popular personalities in Spain.
