Cristina started dancing when she was only three years old. She obtained her degree in professional Spanish dance at the Conservatory “Reina Sofia” in Granada and extended her training for two years at the Andalusian Dance Center (CAD), Seville, with teachers of the stature of Ruben Olmo, Miguel Angel Corbacho, Javier Baron, Manolo Marin, Ana Maria Bueno and Rocio Coral, touring throughout Andalusia. Shortly after, she graduated in Choreography and Interpretation of Spanish Dance and Flamenco at the Conservatorio Superior de Danza “María de Ávila” in Madrid.
She continues her training with great artists such as Lola Greco, Antonio Canales, “Farruquito”, Pastora Galván, Marcos Flores, Alfonso Losa, Pedro Córdoba, Guadalupe Torres, Milagros Mengíbar, Rafaela Carrasco, Matilde Coral and Manuel Liñán, among others. Professionally she works in multiple artistic projects under the direction of Rubén Olmo, Daniel Doña, Teresa Nieto, María Rovira, Carlos Chamorro, among others, touring nationally and internationally for major theaters and festivals.
In 2013 she is awarded a scholarship by the ‘Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía’ under the direction of Rafaela Carrasco, during the period of creation ‘En la memoria del cante 1922’.
She is currently part of several companies such as:
Marina Heredia, with the show ‘Lorca and the Passion, a Sea of Dreams’, where she would share the stage with great artists such as: “Farruquito”, José Valencia, Miguel Poveda, José Quevedo ‘Bolita’, stage direction by Rosario Pardo and under the choreographic direction of Eva Yerbabuena. Mercedes de Córdoba, with the show ‘Sí, Quiero’, premiered at the Festival de Jerez 2022. Rafaela Carrasco, with the show ‘Nocturna’, which premiered at the Bienal de Sevilla in 2022.
Cristina Soler works regularly in the best theaters and tablaos in Andalusia and Madrid.
